Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Construction Safety Manager (Team Leader). The Construction Safety Manager will oversee workplace safety initiatives, coordinate and conduct safety training programs, and implement safety measures in construction operations. Key responsibilities include accident investigation, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, ensuring adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across teams. The role also involves leading safety audits and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the overall safety of projects and personnel.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and experience in Industrial Safety practices
Proficiency in conducting Safety Training sessions and implementing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs
Experience in Accident Investigation and developing preventive measures
Exceptional understanding of compliance regulations, safety standards, and protocols within the construction industry
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Academic background in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) credential are a plus
