We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant who can strengthen our finance function and act as the internal custodian of financial reporting, compliance, governance, and business controls.

About the Role
The Finance Controller will be responsible for leading the Company’s finance, accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, internal financial controls, management reporting, budgeting, treasury, and coordination with external auditors and consultants.
This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring that the Company complies with all applicable financial and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, accounting standards, taxation laws, and stock exchange requirements.
The successful candidate will serve as the central finance leader, supporting the Board of Directors and management with accurate financial information, governance, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
Lead the complete finance and accounting function.
Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing.
Prepare Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and related financial reports.
Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Schedule III requirements.
Maintain the General Ledger and financial records with accuracy and integrity.
Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital.
Oversee banking operations and treasury management.
Review financial transactions and approvals.
Financial Reporting & Management Information
Prepare monthly MIS for management.
Present financial performance to senior leadership.
Conduct budget versus actual analysis.
Perform profitability and cost analysis.
Develop business dashboards and KPIs.
Prepare Board and Audit Committee financial presentations.
Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure timely compliance with:
Companies Act, 2013 (financial matters)
SEBI (LODR) Regulations (financial obligations)
Income Tax
GST
TDS
PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (finance-related compliance)
Coordinate financial submissions required by regulators and stock exchanges.
Maintain a comprehensive statutory compliance calendar.
Audit & Assurance Coordination
Act as the primary finance coordinator for:
Statutory Audit
Internal Audit
Secretarial Audit
Tax Audit
GST Audit
Bank Audit
Due Diligence Exercises
Responsibilities include:
Providing information and documentation.
Coordinating with auditors and consultants.
Tracking audit observations.
Ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
Internal Financial Controls & Risk Management
Develop and strengthen internal financial controls.
Improve financial processes and SOPs.
Implement approval matrices and delegation of authority.
Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Support fraud prevention and financial governance initiatives.
Budgeting, Planning & Business Finance
Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Monitor departmental budgets.
Analyze financial performance and trends.
Evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
Plan fund utilization.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions.
Optimize working capital.
Monitor customer collections and vendor payments.
Business Support
Support the leadership team by:
Preparing business performance reports.
Participating in strategic planning.
Providing financial recommendations.
Supporting fundraising and banking requirements.
Assisting with investor due diligence and financial presentations.
