Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Architect with a valid architecture degree to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of a variety of building projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, creativity, and a deep understanding of building regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop architectural designs and construction plans in compliance with safety, structural, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction purposes.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensuring that projects adhere to the approved designs and schedules.
  • Review and assess construction materials and methods for cost efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
  • Manage architectural aspects of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring that quality and timeline goals are met.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide guidance to junior architects and support staff as needed.
  • Identify potential design issues and recommend solutions to optimize functionality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice architecture (e.g., registration with the Council of Architecture or equivalent).
  • 5-10 years of experience in architectural design and construction project management.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and technologies.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental sustainability standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, etc.
  • Certification in Green Building/LEED accreditation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
